My name is Mary Rose Prosinski and I am a second year graduate student at Radford University, earning my Master’s in Strategic Communication. I received my bachelor’s degree from St. Ambrose University, where I studied Strategic Communication, Public Relations, and Political Science. In the period between earning my degrees, I worked as a Content Specialist in web, social media, and traditional media for an advertising firm located in Davenport, Iowa.
Though a young professional, I am equipped with academic and practical experience that assists me both as a corporate professional and as an educator. I have a passion for storytelling, and am constantly brainstorming creative and innovative strategies to develop engaging messages. Additionally, my passion for learning and educating has led me toward academia, a field in which I plan on spending the rest of my career.
Living in both the Midwest and South Central Appalachia has equipped me with a unique set of perspectives that have contributed to my well-roundedness as both a professional and individual. I look forward to finding additional ways to grow within the communication and academic fields.
